MONTGOMERY Cricket Club brought the curtain down on another season with their end of year presentations last week.
The club enjoyed a fine campaign in the second division of the Shropshire League and will bid to build on the summer in 2025.
First team captain Andrew Barker, second team vice captain Matthew Jones and club chairman Aaron Ruff-Cock made the presentations.
Nathan Smith was the winner of the first team bowling award while Rob Bennett won the fielding prize and Ieuan Griffiths’ 176no earned him the performance of the season trophy.

Griffiths was also named Clubperson of the Year.
Rob Yewdall was the winner of the second team performance of the season with eight wickets at Column IIs.
Leighton Blagg was the winner of the young player of the season award in recognition of his stellar campaign.
Tom Corfield won the second team batting award with Ryan Blayney claiming the bowling honours and Elwyn Turner the fielding accolade.
