THE top performers of the season have been highlighted in the Shropshire Cricket League teams of the summer.
Each year the league compiles its division teams of the summer.
Three Newtown players have made the cut for the first division team of the season with David Laird, Marco Malan and Tom Anderson included.
Laird was also named player of the division having scored 631 league runs and taken 47 wickets.
Meanwhile Anderson was named joint bowler of the season alongside Shelton's former Llanidloes player Simon Jones.

Three Montgomery players are also included in the second division team of the season with Aaron Ruff-Cock, Rob Bennett and Ieuan Griffiths included alongside Alberbury's Jason Joseph.
Mat McWhinnie and Paul Chapman of Welshpool are joined by Andy Flann of Guilsfield in making the third division team of the year.
Joe Pritchard, Adrian Foulkes and Rob Davies of Llanidloes are in the fourth division select alongside Newtown IIs' Mike Bellamore, Callum Foulkes and Cai Van Lill while Tom Moulder of Bishop's Castle made the cut for the division five team of 2024.
Tom Corfield of Montgomery IIs was named player of the division in division six with 629 runs while taking 24 wickets while James Harrap of Alberbury IIs also made the cut.
Matt Edwards of Guilsfield IIs was named in the division seven team of the season.
