CERI Holland will begin her tenure as Welsh national team vice captain later this month.
The Yorkshire-born Liverpool winger qualifies for Wales through her Llanrhaeadr-born mother and helps form part of Rhian Wilkinson's 25 player squad for the two-leg semi-final play-off against Slovakia in Poprad on
Friday, October 25th and the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, October 29th.
Angharad James takes over the captaincy role and will be joined on camp by the newly appointed vice-captains Ceri Holland and Hayley Ladd.

Newtown-raised Carrie Jones is also included having made the switch to Danish club IFK Norrköping earlier in the season following her departure from Bristol City.
Wales head into the play-offs having not lost a game in 2024.
During the qualifying campaign so far, Wilkinson’s side have won four games and drawn two, scoring 18 goals in the process.
Should Wales progress to the play-off final, they will play either Georgia or the Republic of Ireland in a two-leg showdown on Friday, November 29th and Tuesday, December 3rd to determine who qualifies for the finals in Switzerland.
Coach Wilkinson said: “Hayley and Ceri have also been consistent performers in this team in recent years and both have worn the armband previously in the qualifying campaign.
"I know they will also bring strong leadership qualities in their roles as our vice-captains.”
