The 20-year-old Welsh international midfielder made 18 appearances for the Robins in last season’s Barclays Women’s Super League in which she scored three goals but was unable to help the club remain in the top tier for more than one season.
With Bristol City now facing the prospect of Barclays Women’s Championship football this season, Jones will take up a new challenge in the Swedish OBOS Damallsvenskan with IFK Norrköping.
She joins a side that are currently occupying fifth position in the OBOS Damallsvenskan table.
Bristol City were confident of keeping the vast majority of their 2023/2024 squad together for the upcoming season, however, Jones has become the club’s 11th summer departure.
