Welshpool Town will be managed by a new-look coaching set up in next season's North Wales Women's League.

The Lilywhites have unveiled Mark Roberts and Jim Douglass to the vacant managerial position following the departure of Gwynfor Edwards to Llanfair United last month.

A club spokesman said: "Mark makes the step up after being involved with the amazing Welshpool Town U13s girls.

"He will be joined by Jim Douglass who is a local lad and has a real passion for football and bringing women's football in Welshpool back to its best.

"They will both bring loyalty and a stability back to the team and a hard work ethic to bring in some real quality but make this a club that is all inclusive too all women regardless of abilities."

Meanwhile the club is on the lookout for volunteers to help pitch on during match days with roles available throughout the club.
