Newtown Rugby Club is hosting a 24-hour match to raise money for a new community space and changing rooms at the Recreation Ground.
Starting at 5pm on Friday, August 16, the touch rugby match is expected to finish at 5pm on Saturday, August 17.
Players, past players, coaches, volunteers, family friends and members of the public who want to take part are asked to contact the club.

Pitchside refreshments will be available.
A rugby club spokesman said: “Newtown Cricket Club have a home game and it’s their Presidents Day on the Saturday, so is fixed to be a great day down the Rec.”
A crowdfunding appeal has been launched to raise £75,000 towards the Drenewydd Actif Newtown development project which is made up of the rugby, cricket and tennis clubs.
