Penrhyncoch continue to close on the Ardal North East League title following a 3-0 win at 10 man Dolgellau AA on Saturday.
The Roosters led with Courtney Perkins breaking the deadlock after 13 minutes.
Daniel Owen doubled the lead with 20 minutes remaining before Joey Jones saw red for the hosts and Cameron Allen completed the scoring late on.
Rudi Griffiths struck the only goal of the match as Builth Wells battled to a 1-0 win at Penycae.
Llanfair United slipped to a 2-1 defeat at home to Llangollen Town with goals from Ben Wilson and Kristian Jones ensuring a late reply from player-manager Karl Seliaerts was consolation.

Radnor Valley slipped to a 3-1 defeat at Llanuwchllyn.
Meilir Williams and Ilan Hughes goals gave the hosts the lead before Matthew Croose briefly reduced the arrears with Llanuwchllyn restoring their two goal cushion through Kyle Jones’ strike before Elliott Morris saw red for the Goats late on.

Dafydd Carruthers starred with two goals as Bow Street celebrated a 3-1 win at Cefn Albion with a penalty from Richard Ricketts completing their tally while Alex Williams replied for the Broughton side.

Craig Evans broke the deadlock for the hosts just before the break with Jordan Baker and Mitchell Davies goals sealing the spoils for the Corries.
Hay St Mary’s continue to prop up the table following an 8-0 drubbing at Caldicot Town.
Goals from Ben Burns, Richard Sharratt, Kazeem Kareem, Ben Smith, Lyes Mihoubi, Jackson Dean, Laurent Ngunjoh and a Matthew Meredith own goal completed a miserable weekend for the Saints who saw their tough debut season in the Ardal leagues continue.
