BUILTH Wells embark on one of the biggest matches in their history on Saturday.
Most of the town’s population will be heading south to cheer on their heroes when they take on cup favourites Llanelli Wanderers in the semi-finals of the WRU Division One Cup.
The match is taking place at Blackwood Rugby Club with a 2.30pm kick-off and head coach Ben Duggan has called on townspeople making the trip to turn the town the Monmouthshire town black and amber and ensure the Powys team was well supported from the stands.
Duggan said: “We as a club are very excited about this game Saturday.

“After the poor start to our season we could never have imagined we would be one game away from the Principality Stadium.
“We know we go to Blackwood as big underdogs as Llanelli have been blowing everyone away this season but the boys have trained really well and given everything to give us a chance of causing an upset.
“We have a full squad to choose from and hope the big travelling crowd can roar us to cup victory.”
Three official supporters coaches will make the trip from the South Powys town while many more fans will also be making the trip by car with Duggan confident his players would step up and ensure “a great occasion for Builth and mid Wales rugby.”
The Bulls have beaten Waunarwlwydd, Llangefni, Dowlais and Porth Harlequins enroute to the semi-finals and the winner will take their place in the final in the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on April 7th when they will take on either Mountain Ash or Glynneath in the showpiece end of season final clash.
