NEWTOWN Football Club have made their first signing of a new era with the return of winger Lifumpa Mwandwe.

The 23 year old is no stranger to Latham Park and represents the newly appointed Scott Ruscoe's first signing since succeeding Chris Hughes after a golden decade for the club.

Mwandwe first joined the club on loan from Shrewsbury Town in 2019 having signed a professional deal for the English Football League club following a string of eye catching performances for their under 18s side.
