BERRIEW celebrated a 3-1 derby win at home to Welshpool Town in the North Wales League on Sunday.
The match was delayed following an early head injury sustained by Berriew’s Sam Jones and upon resumption of play it was the hosts who broke the deadlock just before the break with Josie Pugh netting against her former club.
Berriew doubled their interval lead with Hannah Richards on target after firing beyond goalkeeper Amy Allen.
