"The club is looking for a new manager, and some new players, to safeguard the future of the club for this season and beyond.

"This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic manager or player-manager to join a popular village club with great facilities, a strong committee, and excellent support from the local community.
"Any players that are currently struggling for game time will be welcome at Churchstoke. If you are interested please contact the Secretary, Neil Yapp, 07818761829, or email yappy1@hotmail.co.uk, or Facebook Churchstoke football club.

The club was formed in 1920 with the current incarnation of the club formed in 2010 having competed in the Newtown Sunday League during the 1980s and 1990s.
In July 2020 the club was announced as one of the new tier four clubs in the restructured East Division of the Mid Wales Football League.
The club had planned to play in the Central Wales League Northern Division for the 2022–23 season but withdrew from the league.
The loss of the club would represent another blow to the region's football scene which has still not recovered from the Football Association of Wales (FAW) post-Covid pyramid restructure.
