GEOFF Kellaway struck twice before seeing red as Penrhyncoch battled to a 3-0 win at home to Penrhiwceiber Rangers to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Dragon Designs Welsh Trophy on Saturday.
Kellaway's 28th minute strike separated the sides at the interval before Daniel Owen doubled the lead early in the second-half.
Kellaway completed his double with 25 minutes remaining before receiving his marching orders while the Ardal South West League side also ended with 10 men following the dismissal of Jarrad Welch.
Llanrhaeadr's trophy dreams ended with a 1-0 defeat at home to Holyhead Hotspur with Deian Parry coming off the bench to net the only goal of the game with three minutes remaining.

Guilsfield were made to toil before celebrating a 2-1 win at home to Ruthin Town in JD Cymru North.
Iwan Matthews broke the deadlock for the hosts just before the break with Ruthin levelling shortly after the interval through Tom Dyer before Callum Bromley fired the villagers to a late victory.

Brecon Corries celebrated a welcome three points while also denting Risca United's Ardal South East League title bid with a 4-2 win at Rich Field.
The sides were inseparable at the break with Craig Evans' 32nd minute opener cancelled out by Risca's Oliver Berry.
Both sides were reduced to 10 men at the start of the second-half with Jack Bain dismissed for the hosts and Corey Evans for the Gwent side.
Dale Evans restored Corries' lead with Risca briefly levelling with Dan Battle's penalty only for goals from Joel Evans and Nyle Slade to complete the home side's victory.
