LLANSANTFFRAID have completed two signings ahead of this weekend’s Ardal North East League clash at home to Llanrhaeadr.
The derby rivals clash at Treflan at 7.30 on Friday night with Saints’ joint-managers Marc Griffiths and Dan Graham bidding to get one over on their former club, now managed by ex-Guilsfield boss Mike Barton.
The Saints have raided JD Cymru North strugglers Llanidloes Town and Chirk AAA for a player each but goalkeeper Adam Clewlow is unavailable for the Friday night derby.

Ex-Carno forward Jack Orbell joins the Saints from Llanidloes Town while former Berriew forward Ed Baker has also arrived at Treflan from Chirk AAA where both players featured last season.
The Saints add both to their squad for the visit of their arch rivals.
Llansantffraid joint-manager Marc Griffiths said everyone at the club was relishing the derby, saying: “The Llanrhaeadr game is one we have been looking forward to since the fixture was announced.
“A local derby under the lights normally leads to an entertaining evening.
“Both sides know each other well and we will expect to be in for a tough challenge.”
Meanwhile Four Crosses face a stern test to open 2024 with a clash at MMP Central Wales League North leaders Kerry who ended 2023 with an unblemished record at their Dolforgan Park fortress.
Llanfyllin Town are also on the road with the Magpies making the trip to fellow strugglers Abermule with both clubs desperate for points to climb the MMP Central Wales League North table with both currently languishing near the basement.
