JAMIE Hyne starred with a hat-trick as Guilsfield came out on top in an entertaining Central Wales Cup fourth round tie at Llanfair United in a 5-2 victory today.
Hyne opened the scoring inside the opening 60 seconds on a windy day at Mount Field before the hosts hit back to lead with Flynn Morris scoring directly from a corner before William Davies fired Llanfair ahead.
The JD Cymru North side showed their quality before the break with Hyne netting his second of the game to level after 22 minutes with Joe Haycock and Andy Evans adding their names to the scoresheet before the interval.
Hyne completed his hat-trick with 25 minutes remaining as Guilsfield maintained their cup hopes.

Ten man Kerry completed an upset with a 2-0 win at home to Ardal North East League side Llandrindod Wells.
Richards Davies and Luke Mumford goals gave the Lambs the edge before Barry Bellis saw red but the MMP Central Wales League North hosts held firm to seal their progress.
Llanidloes Town battled to a 1-0 win at Carno with a solitary Drew Reynolds goal with 15 minutes remaining earning the JD Cymru North visitors a place in the semi-finals of the Banwy Fuels Montgomeryshire Cup.
Goals either side of the break from Harvey Gill and Jake O'Donnell gave Forden the lead at Clostanymur before Ross Harris looked to have sealed the points with a third with 25 minutes remaining.
Monty rallied with a Robbie Hartshorn double before Alec Jones saw red for the hosts and O'Donnell settled Forden's nerves with his second goal from the penalty spot.
Trewern United and Meifod shared the spoils in a goalless draw at Llandrinio while Waterloo Rovers and Dyffryn Banw battled out a 1-1 draw at Maesydre with the home side leading through Tom Ellis only for Kyffin Morgan's strike to earn the Llangadfan side a point.
Bishop's Castle celebrated a 3-2 win at Four Crosses with George Mellor firing the visitors ahead before Crosses hit back with goals from Will Howard and Tom Evans to lead at the break.
Jake Ellis levelled before Mellor restored Castle's lead with his second of the game but blotted his copybook with an injury time red card.
Penparcau hit back to prevail 3-1 winners at Llanilar and stay top of the southern league table.
Osian Simpson-Jones fired the home side into an early lead before Ciaran Evans levelled before the break and goals from Liam Lewis and Harley Lawton completed Penparcau's 3-1 victory.
