LLANYMYNECH Football Club’s junior section continues to go from strength to strength on and off the pitch.
The Powys border club’s under 8s team have recently received new training tops from Gobowen takeaway, The Best, and new rain jackets sponsored by Input Emporium in Oswestry.
The team is coached by Alastair Lloyd, Matthew Evans, Stewart Morris and Warwick Flynn and play in the Shropshire under 8s league.

Llanymynech Football Club under 8s and coaches.
Matthew said: “We only started in the summer and we got all the team together. We have only lost two matches all season so far.
“They are a fantastic bunch of little lads who are doing amazingly well. We only started with three players and within a few weeks, we had a whole team, well more than a team.
“We train at four crosses and also at the Astroturf in the town park in Oswestry and any new players are welcome to come along.”
