NEWTOWN Football Club will host a hastily arranged Super Saturday this weekend.
Newtown host mid Wales rivals Aberystwyth Town in a friendly at 1pm with both clubs keen to maintain fitness after several weeks spent kicking their heels due to fixture alterations brought about by Welsh Cup tie postponements.
Afterwards the JD Cymru North clash between Caersws and Buckley Town will take centre stage with a 3.30pm kick-off.
The match has been switched the Bluebirds' Recreation Ground home still recovering from the impact of heavy rain and storms which ravaged the region last month.
