STORM Babet has hit the Powys and mid Wales football schedule.
With rising river levels and no end to the torrential rain which has swept the region today, several fixtures have been cancelled.
The JD Cymru Premier derby clash between Aberystwyth Town and Newtown has been postponed due to dangerous travelling conditions.

Llanidloes Town's JD Cymru North meeting at home to Mold Alexandra is also a victim of the weather.
Berriew's clash with Tywyn Bryncrug and Machynlleth's meeting with Tregaron Turfs have each been postponed in the MMP Central Wales League.
Several matches scheduled for Saturday have also been postponed.
Hay St Mary's Reserves v Llandrindod Wells Reserves in the FAW Central Reserve League and Waterloo Rovers Reserves v Berriew Reserves in the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire have both been cancelled.
