LLANIDLOES Town prevailed in a nine goal thriller against to seal their place in the second round of the JD Welsh Cup with a 5-4 win at home to Builth Wells on Saturday.
The Bulls led when Dylan Downs put through his own net inside the opening 15 minutes before the hosts hit back to lead with Jamie Breese levelling before Connor Bird fired home a penalty.
However the Ardal North East League side restored parity before the interval with Ryan Powell on target.
The goals kept coming after the break with Breese restoring Llanidloes' lead with 20 minutes remaining only for Tommy Rowlands to level five minutes later.

A thrilling finale saw Bird net before Breese completed his hat-trick to seal Llanidloes' victory but the battling Bulls ensured a tense end to the tie when Lyndon Jones reduced the arrears from the penalty spot in injury time.

Ben Davies struck twice as Bow Street eased to a 4-0 win at Corwen with Rhydian Davies and Ifan Burrell goals completing the scoring.
Tregaron Turfs crashed out of the cup after a 10-2 thrashing at home to Llanuwchllyn.
Meilir Williams starred with a five goal haul while Ilan Hughes netted twice and further goals from Jack Evans, Sam Evans and Warren Aykroyd-Duckett completed the rout while Gwion Owen and Dylan Davies netted consolations.

Montgomery Town endured a weekend to forget after a 13-1 thrashing at Mold Alexandra.
Dan Warren starred for the hosts with six goals while Jamie Reed and Nathan Mendoza bagged doubles with goals from Eric Durnell, Rhys Nash and Dafydd Griffith completing the rout while Monty netted a consolation through Robbie Hartshorn.
Radnor Valley bowed out of the cup with a 4-0 defeat at home to Gresford Athletic with James Smith netting twice and goals from Toby Gallagher-Keenan and Haci Ozlu completing the tally while Joey Price spurned a penalty for the hosts.

Caersws suffered a cup upset with a 3-1 defeat at Brickfield Rangers with goals from Kiran Russell, Andy Vale and Jay Richardson ensuring no way back for the Bluebirds who replied through a goal from Craig Harris.
Josh Astley scored the only goal of the game as Penparcau were edged out in a 1-0 defeat at home to Cefn Albion with both sides ending with 10 men following the dismissals of Charlie Turner for the hosts and Mike Pearson for the visitors.

Penrhyncoch also bowed out of the cup following a 4-2 defeat at home to Chirk AAA with both sides ending the tie with 10 men.
Harri Horwood and Jonathan Evans netted for the hosts with the latter also dismissed while the visiting Colliers prevailed with goals from Joshua Evans, Rhys Edwards, Louie Middleton and Iwan Hardy while also seeing Ryan Williams red carded.
