CAERSWS endured a night to forget with a 4-1 defeat at fellow JD Cymru North new boys Denbigh Town on Tuesday evening.
The Bluebirds enjoyed a dream opening with Rhys Hesden converting after good work by Ben Jones after just 13 minutes.
However the hosts stormed back with Craig Pritchard levelling before Nathan Brown struck.
Caersws were stunned with 31 minutes on the clock when goalkeeper Jack Perry saw red with Brown netting the resulting penalty.

Paul Fleming added a fourth early in the second-half before Calum Bennett saw red as the Bluebirds ended the match with nine men.
Llanfair United celebrated a 1-0 win at Llansantffraid in the Ardal North East League with player-manager Karl Seliaerts netting the only goal of the game.
Brecon Corries' tough start to the Ardal South East League season continued with a 4-0 defeat at Risca United courtesy of doubles from Liam Thomas and Dan Battle.
