WELSHPOOL Town Football Club will battle on with one side this season.
The Ardal North East Wales League club has endured a turbulent summer with a host of players departing for pastures new.

Social media officer Paul Alexander said: "Due to increased travelling distances in the FAW Reserve League and a number of summer departures, the club has decided to consolidate and field our strongest squad in the Ardal North East League.
"We are disappointed to lose our successful and youthful reserve team but the club has no choice but to focus on the sustainability of the senior men's team.
"We are looking forward to the season and the challenges it brings."
The news follows Llanfair United also withdrawing their club from the regional reserve league after gaining special dispensation to enter their second string in the Montgomeryshire League.
