FORDEN United got their MMP Central Wales League North season off to a flying start with a 4-2 win at home to Llanfyllin Town on Saturday.
Ryan Jenkins struck twice before Jake O'Donnell added a third after the break.
Llanfyllin rallied with goals from Lewis Birch and Sam Owen before O'Donnell added a fourth late on to settle the outcome for the hosts.

Trewern United opened their season with a 3-1 win at Dyffryn Banw.

Ryan Edwards led the scoring with two goals as Llanilar opened the season with a thrilling 4-3 win at home to Machynlleth.
Guto Roberts and Kieron Reynolds completed the scoring for the Swallows while Dylan Owen, Max Jones and Callum Page ensured the visitors remained in contention.
Tregaron Turfs came out on top in a 2-1 opening day win at Presteigne St Andrews with goals from Joshua Taylor and Rhodri Jones sealing the spoils while Luke Boundford struck for the Saints.
