BERRIEW Football Club have continued their rebuild ahead of the new MMP Central Wales League North season.
The Rhiewsiders struggled for much of last season following a turbulent summer which saw two managers depart along with a host of players.
However the club has since consolidated and is looking ahead to the new campaign having been strengthened with a draft of new players joining the ranks.
The village club has re-formed its reserve team to compete in the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire and Radnorshire League while also forming a women’s team after several years of building membership and a thriving junior section.

Former Carno and Machynlleth goalkeeper Chris Brown heads the cast of new arrivals after joining from Ardal North East League side Builth Wells.
The Rhiewsiders have also welcomed the return of midfielder Dewi Hughes from local rivals Abermule.
Spencer Roberts and Callum Greatorex have joined the club from Ardal North East League side Welshpool Town.
Berriew have also snapped up ex-Welshpool Town player Iwan Walsh from MMP Central Wales League North rivals Trewern United.
Utility player Dave Box is also back at the Haydn Williams Field after a spell with MMP Central Wales League North rivals Four Crosses.
The cast of new arrivals continues with Tom Pope joining from Montgomery Town.
Meanwhile the villagers have welcomed the signing of Jeremy Kilgour who joins having previously represented Waimakairi United in New Zealand and the unattached Lewis Hilditch.
Meanwhile teenage defender Ben Shephard and Dylan Tilsley both make the step up from the club’s junior ranks ahead of the new campaign.
