LLANIDLOES Town boosted their JD Cymru North survival prospects with a vital 3-0 win at fellow strugglers Chirk AAA on Saturday.
Jamie Breese's 28th minute strike provided the breakthrough before Andy Evans doubled the Daffodils' lead early in the second-half and Elliot Jones' late penalty settled the outcome.
Penrhyncoch's relegation to the third tier looms large after a 2-1 defeat at Porthmadog left the Roosters on the cusp of the drop.

The home side led through Stuart Rogers' 43rd minute strike only for the Roosters to level through Dan Owen's riposte before the break.
However Gerwyn Williams' 60th minute strike proved decisive as the former Dolgellau AA forward hammered a nail in Penrhyncoch's relegation coffin.

Guilsfield came out on top in a seven goal thriller at Prestatyn Town with a 4-3 win boosting the villagers' top for aspirations.
A frantic opening saw Callum Bromley fired the Guils into a fourth minute lead only for his side to trail two minutes later with Chris Cathrall putting through his own net before Dean Davies struck for the Seasiders.
Joe Haycock restored parity after half an hour with goals in as many minutes from Steve Blenkinsip and Iwan Matthews restoring Guilsfield's lead by the break.
