LLANDRINDOD Wells are just a game away from making history after sealing a semi-final place in the Welsh Trophy with a 3-2 win at Cardiff Corinthians on Saturday.
A frantic opening saw the Spamen race ahead with goals from Jack Evans and Daryl Nicholls before Mamadi Mane reduced the arrears for the hosts all inside the opening 12 minutes.
Robbie Nicholls briefly restored the Powys side's lead before Aron Davies hit back for the hosts on the stroke of half-time.
Joe Evans saw red for the Cardiff side with five minutes remaining as Llandrindod Wells celebrated a place in the semi-finals alongside Bridgend Street, Denbigh Town and Trethomas Bluebirds.

Llanidloes Town celebrated a welcome 3-1 victory at home to Holyhead Hotspur to boost their battle for JD Cymru North survival on Saturday.
Luke Boundford broke the deadlock just before the break with the hosts pulling away with further goals from Jack Orbell and Jamie Breese sealing three welcome points before Dylan Summer-Jones netted a late consolation for the visitors.
Guilsfield claimed a hard-earned point at home to troubled Llandudno whose off the field financial issues continue to overshadow their campaign.

Penrhyncoch were left heartbroken as Prestatyn Town staged a dramatic comeback to snatch a 2-1 win from the jaws of defeat.
Niall Coleridge's 27th minute strike separated the sides for much of the match only for the visitors to seize glory with injury time goals from Tom Aylmer and Jack Gibney.
