RHAYADER Town have completed one of their biggest signings of recent years with the arrival of James Thomson.
The 26-year -old former Scotland under 17s international began his career at Dundee in 2011 before a spell at East Fife and stints at Scottish non-league sides Broughty and Lockee.
Manager Gareth Hughes said of the defender: "James is a great addition to the squad and after watching him play in pre-season it was a no brainer to get James on board, he has a commanding presence and a leader on the pitch
"James will be a major player for us this season and can’t wait to get going.”
