LLYR Hughes has been appointed the new manager of Bow Street.
Hughes succeeds Barry Williams at the helm of the Cae Piod club who will compete in the Ardal North East League next season, depending on ongoing lockdown restrictions covering Welsh sport.
Hughes has previous experience with Aberystwyth Town, Penparcau and Penrhyncoch.
Hughes said: “I am honoured to be given the opportunity. Barry will be a hard act to follow and I was proud to have worked with him over the last few seasons.
“We have a really good set-up here and I am immensely looking forward to leading the club into the new third tier.
“It will be a big challenge and a lot of hard work for us all but one I am looking forward to it.”
A club statement read: “As far as we were concerned Llyr was the obvious and unanimous choice to take the club into the new third tier which is a new and exciting challenge for the club.
“Llyr has a huge amount of experience at playing at a higher level and also managerial experience.
“He is well respected by all within the club and we have every confidence this will be a very successful appointment.”
