Despite being in existence since 1911 the club spent decades competing in the now defunct Halkyn League before joining the Welsh League North in 1952 until 1955.
The club joined the Clwyd League in 1975 where they enjoyed unbroken membership until 1990 when the club stepped up to the Welsh Alliance.
The 90s proved a glorious era for the club with back to back Welsh Trophy triumphs in 1995 and 1996 and promotion to the Cymru Alliance as Welsh Alliance champions.
The club enjoyed a successful spell in the Alliance, twice ending runners-up while being crowned champions in 1998 before resigning from the league to return to the Welsh Alliance in 2001
The club ended losing finalists in the 2005 Welsh Trophy before winning the Welsh Alliance in 2010 to return to the Cymru Alliance though would be relegated after just one season.
One season in the Wrexham League was followed by a return to the Cymru Alliance before the club folded in 2015.
The club reformed in the Wrexham League in 2016.
