PAUL Evans was the match winner as Guilsfield Reserves were crowned champions of the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire League Honda Division One with a 1-0 win over Bishops Castle Town at Clos Mytton.
Llanrhaeadr Reserves were also presented with the Mitsubishi Division Two silverware following their 2-0 victory at home to Llanymynech on Friday night with Gus Harris netting twice for the champions.
Elsewhere Churchstoke Reserves proved too strong for Llanwddyn in a 5-0 win at Llanrhaeadr.
Lee Grady led the scoring with a hat-trick with Jake Baker’s double ensuring a comfortable margin for the Marketmen.
Meanwhile Forden United marched to the final of the Boys and Boden Montgomeryshire League Cup with a 3-0 win at Four Crosses Reserves on Tuesday night.
Goals from Christian Webster, Jake O’Donnell and Mike Henderson-Smith ensured manager Jonny Roberts had reason to smile as his side remained on course for silverware.

Meanwhile Kerry Reserves booked their place in the final of the Mid Wales Trophies Consolation Cup with a surprise 3-1 win over Llanymynech.
Goals from Kez Wheeldon, Ryan Gardner and an own goal sealed glory for the Lambs with Rob Jones replying.
