NEWTOWN have completed a deadline day deal after capturing Halesowen Town striker Ethan Jones.

On his release from Shrewsbury Town last summer, Jones signed for Southport, and following that he moved to Halesowen Town in the Northern Premier League.
Manager Chris Hughes was delighted to complete the signing and bolster his front line heading into the second phase of the J D Welsh Premier season.
Hughes said: “We’re delighted to get the Ethan deal done on deadline day, he is quick and powerful and will give us a different option going forward. We have some good options in forward positions, and it will give us some good fire power heading into phase two.”
Jones misses the trip to Llandudno with the Robins waiting on international clearance.
