Members of Welshpool Sharks Swimming Club have been hailed for their success at a North Wales Swimming Club gala in Holywell.
The squad, aged between nine and 15, returned with 20 medals, eight gold, four silver and eight bronze to end fifth out of 15 swimming clubs, all of which arrived from larger towns across north Wales.
Such exploits warranted a special visit from the local authorities with PCSO Sally Ann-Nevill dropping by for training.
Three swimmers also set new personal bests to warrant a visit of PCSO Sally Ann-Neville who heard of their reported speeding.
Beth Stephens set a new PB in the 100m freestyle while Harry Voice did the same in the 50m butterfly and breaststroke and Charlotte Banks set new PBs in the 50m backstroke and 50m freestyle.
