Abermule Mixed Bowling team were recently crowned champions in the Montgomeryshire Mixed Bowling League.
The village team is celebrating its championship-winning season after beating Sarn to the top spot by 7.5 points.
This is the team's most successful season for over 20 years, having also made it to this year's League Cup final before losing to Guilsfield in an exciting match.

The success represents a real comeback by the Abermule club, who just two years ago didn't have a green to play on.
A lack of maintenance during the Covid lockdown had damaged the green badly and it took two years of patient work by club members to re-establish the playing surface.
The team play every Tuesday during the season and are looking to welcome new members to their successful squad next season.
Anyone can have a go at bowling on the Abermule green every Monday evening for just £3 per session during the season. Contact Club Secretary Marilyn Hussey on 07519950777 for more details.
