CARRIE Jones scored an injury time winner as Leicester City climbed off the foot of Women’s Super League with a 2-1 win over Reading on Sunday.
The former Newtown High School student and Manchester United star netted a 96th minute winner for on-loan club Leicester City as the Foxes climbed off the foot of the table.
Jones said: “It is hard to sum up the feeling right now.
“We kept the belief, we dominated the game and won all our battles so it was a great performance and result.

“We had a lot of efforts and just needed to keep on going.
“It is a massive boost to move off the foot of the table and that will give us a lot of belief going into the final games of the season.”
Jones will be back in action for Wales this week with Gemma Grainger’s team hosting Northern Ireland in a friendly on Thursday.
Jones could be deployed as the main striker as Wales look to life without Helen Ward following her retirement.
Liverpool’s Ceri Holland, who qualifies for Wales through her Llanrhaeadr born mother, is also included in the Welsh squad.
