Newtown Wanderers Football Club has folded - becoming the third club from the town to fold in six years.
Since 2016, Newtown Rovers, Maesyrhandir and Newtown Wanderers have folded with Powys’ largest town now left with just one club.
Spokesman Lee Stephens said: “Unfortunately we were in a situation where our manager had stepped down and a number of committee members were stepping down at the end of the season.
“We were unable to fill these roles and have taken the difficult decision to not enter a team into the 2022/23 season.
“It was a difficult season stepping up two leagues and the difficult results did not help with players not being fully committed.
“The committee would like to thank it’s members and Leon for his hard work over the last few years.”
