"What we have in front of us today is the new crest. It is a reflection of the history, myths, legends and bilingual nature of our community. We are extremely grateful to Retu Creative for all their hard work."

Retu was tasked with creating a clean and modern club crest which reflected the village and its history while incorporating ideas from primary school children.

County Times:

The crest incorporates many of the tales and history associated with the village.

The red dragon depicts the Gwybr of Llanrhaeadr and the fable of a serpent who lived at Llyn Luncaws who feasted on local women and children until townsfolk killed the beast at Pillar Coch.

The crest also depicts the famous Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall which the village is so famous.

Finally the crest also reflects the village as the place where William Morgan translated the Bible into Welsh for the first time.
