A CAR crashed into a wall in a Mid Wales town leaving two people in hospital this afternoon (Tuesday, December 3).
The incident near South Street in Rhayader led to the A470 being closed in both directions at around 2pm.
Fire crews from Rhayader and Llandrindod Wells attended.

A spokesperson from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews responded to a road traffic collision involving one private motor vehicle that had collided with a wall.
"The vehicle’s driver was released prior to the arrival of crews with one passenger released by crews using spreaders and cutters.
"Both casualties were then conveyed to hospital by ambulance. Crews left the scene at 3.33pm."
