Photos taken from an overhead drone capture the full scale of the crowds that turned out to Newtown's day of festive events.
As the Powys town hosted both its 2024 Santa Run and the official switch on of the town's Christmas Lights on Saturday, November 30, hundreds of people turned out to watch and take part in the events.
As many as 250 runners took part in the Santa Run, the town's first for 13 years, with many more on the side-lines to watch.
With the run held in the afternoon, later that evening the town welcomed more people to the streets for the annual Christmas Lights switch on, with music, entertainment and markets drawing people in for the big moment.
Both events were held by a collaboration between the Town Council and Severn Valley Eevents, who have now released a series of overhead images taken from a drone, that capture the full picture of crowds who were out in force for both events.
