Elan Valley Visitor Centre is gearing up for a festive season packed with new attractions.
December will see the centre launch a series of Christmas events, including a Christmas lights switch-on and a winter woodland grotto.
The picturesque Elan Valley, with its Victorian architecture and 'stunning' reservoirs, is set to provide a fitting backdrop for the holiday celebrations.
The Christmas festivities will kick off on Friday, December 6 with the Christmas Lights Switch-On event.
Father Christmas himself will be present to light up the visitor centre at 5pm.
Attendees can look forward to an evening of carols sung by the Builth Wells Ladies Choir, and will be treated to a complimentary mince pie and hot chocolate.
The gift shop will offer a 10 per cent discount for the event, and visitors can enjoy free parking from 2.30pm to 6pm.

On weekends throughout December, visitors can embark on an adventure at Elan Valley's Magical Winter Woodland Grotto.
Extra dates on Friday, December 20 and Monday, December 23 have been added for children to meet Father Christmas, share their festive wishes, and receive a special gift.
The grotto experience, priced at £12.50 per child, includes festive crafts, games, and a hot chocolate and gingerbread man in the café.
Families can also explore an outdoor Christmas trail to find 'Elfie', the mischievous elf who is lost in Cnwch Woods.
Children and adults are invited to Breakfast with Father Christmas on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 December, from 10am to 11.30am.
For £8.95 per child and £10.95 per adult, families can enjoy a festive breakfast, listen to Christmas stories, and receive a gift.
The Elan Valley Christmas Market on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15 will be the place for visitors to find 'unique gifts and festive treats.'
Stalls will offer everything from handmade chocolates to festive decorations, and glass jewellery to skincare products.
The Elan Valley gift shop is also filled with Christmas gift ideas, from locally produced items and handmade crafts to stocking fillers.
Elan Valley gift vouchers are also available, which can be used for bike hire, purchases in the café, or finds in the gift shop.
The Elan Valley Visitor Centre, which is 'renowned' for its landscapes and outdoor activities, is open from 10am to 4pm daily, except for Christmas Day.
