Buses will be replacing trains between Shrewsbury and Llanwrtyd for four days from Monday, and then from Llandrindod Wells to Swansea next weekend.
The rail operator advises passengers that replacement vehicles may be busier than usual, and that they should allow extra time for their journey.
Replacement bus locations can be found by checking station signs or by searching for the nearest station on Network Rail's information pages at www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations/
