DOMINO’S will open just its second Powys store next week and will be giving out free personal pizzas to celebrate the occasion.

Domino’s, which describes itself as the nation’s best-loved pizza company, will open in Brecon on Monday, December 2.

The store, located at 5 Rich Way, Brecon (LD3 7EH), will be open seven days a week from 11am-11pm, providing delicious pizza, hand-made with fresh dough, vine-ripened tomato sauce and always 100 per cent mozzarella.

This latest opening forms part of Domino’s largest franchise partner, SK Group’s, ambition to open 10 new stores across Wales ahead of Christmas, as it prepares for a busy festive season.

“We’re excited to open a store in the picturesque town of Brecon to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza,” said Ricky Kandola, operations director at SK Group.

“As we come into the busiest and most wonderful time of the year, we are also delighted to have Brecon as part of the 10 new stores we are opening across the country ahead of Christmas.”

Collectively, the new stores will provide 250 jobs nationwide, and the Brecon Domino’s is currently recruiting for roles, including shift managers, pizza-makers and delivery drivers.

The store is celebrating the opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, at 11am, where members of the local community and customers are invited to meet the new store team and, of course, try some freshly prepared Domino’s pizza.

The store will be giving out free personal pizzas with special golden postcards on opening day, as well as a free cookie with every collection order during opening week.
