Llandrindod's Repair Café will remain open during winter this year for the first time.
Following discussions with the café's fixers and volunteers, the usual two-month winter closure has been scrapped.
Free repair events will now be held on the second Saturday of each month all year round.
As a result, members of the public can bring their faulty household goods to the café for repairs on December 14, January 11, and February 8.
The usual opening times from 2pm until 5pm will continue.
These events will take place at the Celf Centre on Tremont Road in Llandrindod.

Repair Café volunteer Martina Holmes said: "Come and support your local Repair Café and give our skilled volunteer repairers plenty of your faulty household items to fix during our winter opening hours.
"They like a challenge and will try to help you repair any broken things you might otherwise throw away, including small electrical items.
"Free refreshments are available, but donations are much appreciated to cover costs and keep the Repair Café running."
Volunteers with fixing skills, such as sewing, small electricals, and basic bike repairs, are encouraged to join the initiative.
Those interested in admin and reception roles are also welcome.
