A podcast featuring the late Les Jones is being shared globally on the anniversary of his death.
The podcast, entitled A Bucket of Coal, showcases the life and career of Mr Jones, who was known for his teaching and mentoring.
It was recorded in Mr Jones's home in Cwmbelan, Llanidloes, by Carl McCarthy in 2020 and is now being shared worldwide by friends and former students, including Rob Ford, the former pupil and CEO of Heritage International School, Moldova.
Mr Ford said: "Les continues to inspire so many people with his words, experiences and wisdom.
"We felt as friends that it was fitting on the first anniversary of the death of this proud Welshman, we share his thoughts and lessons from his remarkable long life.
"He is deeply missed but his life is celebrated and his legacy is around the world through his work as a teacher and mentor."
Mr Jones, who died on November 25, 2023, aged 90, continued to teach young people online in Moldova and other countries, as well as coaching local students from his garden in Cwmbelan well into his 80s.
In the summer, an exhibition of Mr Jones's work was held at the Minerva Arts Centre in Llanidloes, celebrating him as a local artist.
The podcast was widely shared during the height of the Covid pandemic, and it was deemed fitting to re-release it on the anniversary of Mr Jones's death.
His journey took him from the North Welsh coalfields and the Gresford tragedy to receiving a scholarship to Magdalen College, Oxford, sharing his voice and commitment to social justice.
The podcast can be found on Apple Podcasts.
