Fire crews in Mid Wales were called to help a property that was being flooded as Storm Bert brought heavy rain over the weekend.
As they dealt with several incidents across Mid Wales, one fire crew were called to help divert water away from a property that was being flooded on Sunday, November 24.
As Dyfed Powys Police issued a warning to people in Mid Wales to be ready for “extremely poor conditions” as Storm Bert hit, firefighters in Brecon were called to an incident on Peppercorn Lane.
According to Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, firefighters responded to a report of floodwater entering the ground floor of a property, with crew working to divert the water away from the property while pumping water out of the scene.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 8.35am on Sunday, November 24th, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crew from Brecon Fire Station was called to an incident on Peppercorn Lane.
“Crew members responded to a property following reports of water entering the ground floor.
“The crew were involved in pumping and diverting water from an external courtyard to lower the water levels inside the property.”
