More flood warnings have been issued in Powys after more rain overnight from Storm Bert.
Storm Bert has had yet more impact on river levels in Powys this morning (November 24) with more flood warnings issued across the county.
Natural Resources Wales currently have nine flood warnings issued in Powys mainly affecting the River Severn and the River Usk.
Three warnings have been issued for the River Severn in the Pool Quay Area, in the Abermule and Fron Area and at Aberbechan.

In their latest update Natural Resources Wales said: “River levels are rising again due to overnight rainfall. Flooding to property is expected.
“Flooding of low-lying land and roads is ongoing. Impacts are expected to occur today. Some minor roads in the Abermule area could be affected by flooding.
“The River Severn in the Abermule and Fron Area is expected to rise until approximately 1pm this afternoon.”
Three more warnings have been issued for the River Usk from Glangrwyne to Newbridge on Usk, at Brecon and from Brecon to Glangrwyne.

Natural Resources Wales have warned Brecon Residents that “The rainfall is forecast to continue until approximately 1:00pm on Sunday”, that “flooding to property is expected” and that the “flooding of low-lying land and roads is ongoing.
Other warnings have been issued for the River Vyrnwy at Llanymynech, for the River Teme at Knighton and the River Tawe at Ystradgynlais.
Meanwhile Natural Resources Wales have 18 less serious flood alerts in force across Powys affecting the following areas:
