Police have confirmed they have found a body in the search for a missing Powys woman.
Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed that they have found a body when searching for a woman called Sally, 62, in the Llanwrtyd Wells area.
The force put out a public appeal yesterday evening (November 18) after she went missing early yesterday afternoon.
Police reported that Sally had not been seen by anyone since 1.30pm and asked for the public to come forward to help in their search.

However, in the early hours of this morning, Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed a body was found in the search.
Officer have confirmed that they are undertaking an investigation into the circumstances around the death.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We are saddened to confirm the body of a woman has been found during the search for missing 62-year-old Sally, who had been reported missing in Llanwrtyd Wells, yesterday (18 November).
“Formal identification has not yet taken place, but her family has been informed of the development. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
“Enquiries around the circumstances surrounding the death have commenced, and anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to contact us.”
