Members of the Rotary Club of Welshpool were saddened by the recent death of Judith Harper.
She was the widow of Rotarian Ted Harper.
The club's November 13 meeting welcomed Georgina Taylor, local Homestart coordinator, who discussed the charity's support for young families and its need for local volunteers.

The club is also preparing for a joint Christmas meal with Inner Wheel members at the Royal Oak Hotel on December 10.
Guests will be welcome.
The next club meeting will be on November 27.
