The main road between Welshpool and Berriew remains closed this morning (Sunday) following a serious collision on Saturday evening.
The A483 was closed overnight while emergency services remained at the scene near The Horeshoes pub.
At 6.40pm, Dyfed-Powys Police posted on Facebook: "Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey".
Data from Google Maps on Sunday morning was showing that vehicles were not travelling between the Berriew turning and the Sarnybryncaled roundabout on the outskirts of Welshpool.
Motorists travelling southbound from the Welshpool direction are being diverted to Forden.
Dyfed-Powys Police has been contacted for an update.
