A hospital fundraising group in Newtown is closing after almost 50 years.
The Newtown Hospital League of Friends (LOF) is winding down due to a lack of volunteers.
The group has raised more than £120,000 since 2017 for equipment for patients at the hospital.
A thank-you ceremony was held at the hospital last week to mark the closure of the LOF.
Dr Carl Cooper, chair of Powys Teaching Health Board, said: "You and colleagues have served the hospital and community of Newtown diligently and conscientiously for almost 50 years.
"Not only have you raised significant sums of money to benefit patients and staff, but you have also served as an important link between the hospital, the health board, and the local population."

Peris Astley, chair of the LOF, explained that he and secretary Joy Williams have been part of the group for 49 years and that they had been unsuccessful in recruiting new faces.
The group is working with the Powys Health Charity to manage the use of the LOF’s funds in the future.
The Powys Health Charity supports the wellbeing of staff, patients, and volunteers for the Powys Teaching Health Board as well as communities in the area.
