In a post online Jim said “I was lucky enough to be attending the Welsh Sports Hall Of Fame annual dinner.
“I was under the impression I was going to be giving some insight in to how well the Welsh contingent of Paralympics GB did at the recent 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.
“Whilst on stage it was revealed that Liz Johnson and myself were actually there under false pretences.
“We were actually being inducted on to the “Welsh Sports Hall Of Fame - Roll Of Honour”.
Such a privilege to join a club of Welsh sporting icons.
“Liz and myself are actually the first Paralympian’s to be inducted on to the Roll of Honour in over 10 years.
“Wales has such an amazing cohort of Paralympic athletes. I’m sure it won’t be long before more are added to this list.”
