A NEW clothing and shoe store in Llandrindod Wells is hoping to “grow with the locals” after opening last week.
Hill’s opened on the spa town’s High Street last Wednesday, November 6. Owners Hannah and David Hill describe the shop as an “independent, family run clothing and shoe shop”, offering season wear and brands and a “a personal, friendly shopping experience to suit a variety of budgets”.
The shop, which says that it offers “good products and good prices”, is based at Oxford House, on High Street, just down the road from The Fish Bar.
“We are selling clothing and footwear, hats, gloves, socks, jackets, trousers, hoodies, fleeces and more,” said the couple.

“We have different, seasonal brands in all the time depending on the wholesaler we use. Currently we have Threadbare, Tresspass, Regatta, Urban Ridge and other smaller brands.
“We sell men’s, women’s and kids clothing and offer a personal, friendly shopping experience to suit a variety of budgets.
“We want to grow with the locals so depending on what most people ask for we will try and stock a variety of different products.
“We are a family business who saw a need for local footwear and clothing and are really hoping that we get the support of the town.”
The shop created a Facebook page on October 21 and later announced it would be opening from 10am on November 6.
After the first day of trading the shop said on its Facebook page: “Thank you for popping in today, chatting and browsing and buying, we met some lovely people.”
Opening hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am-3pm, as well as Saturdays 10am-4pm, with the shop closed Tuesdays and Sundays.
