A man remains in police custody after being arrested last week in a Powys town on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm.
A section of Brecon town centre was cordoned off on Friday afternoon, November 8, amid an 'ongoing incident', with people advised to avoid the area.
Dyfed-Powys Police later confirmed on Friday that it had received reports of a man being seen with a firearm.

“Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a male with a firearm in Brecon at around 2pm on November 8,” the force said.
“One man, aged 25, has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear, and remains in police custody.
“Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection to the incident.”

Police had warned of delays in Brecon and urged people to avoid the area and find alternative routes where possible.
Google Traffic maps showed there were delays to traffic in Market Street and High Street.
The incident was resolved at about 5pm.
